This year, Leanna wrote, co-produced, co-directed and co-starred in her first feature film, “Christmas with Jerks." The film will be available starting on streaming services in November.

Leanna has written, directed, produced, edited and starred in dozens of award-winning shorts that have screened around North America. Some of her shorts have aired on TBS and Fox's LaughsTV and been featured by Huffington Post and Funny or Die.

Leanna’s feature scripts have won ‘Best of’ awards around the country. She was selected for the 2020 Lab at the Athena Film Festival. She also won a staged reading through the Atlanta Film Society’s Page to Stage competition.

The short documentary she directed, JERRY-ATRIC: One Comic’s 77-Year Climb to the Top of the Bottom, screened at festivals including the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival and will be featured on WABE’s “Atlanta on Film” in their upcoming season.
