Jackie Jesko is an award-winning director, producer, and journalist. In 2023, she directed the critically-acclaimed series Savior Complex for HBO Documentary Films. She is also the co-founder of the production company Latchkey Films, whose recent credits include Savior Complex, Between Life & Death (MSNBC Films), and Demons & Saviors (Hulu). Before pivoting into documentary, Jackie was a producer at VICE News, where her reports for Showtime, Hulu and HBO earned her a DuPont Award, an Emmy, and the James Foley Medal for Courage in Journalism.
