Dongnan Chen is a documentary filmmaker from Xi'an China. Her film Sound of Vision (2012), for which she worked as one of the producers, filmmakers and editors, was nominated for an Emmy award and premiered at Hot Docs. The Trail From Xinjiang (2013) has been screened at various festivals, universities and museums worldwide. Singing in the Wilderness (2021) is her first feature documentary, which is a selection of IFFR, ND/NF etc.She graduated from the documentary program at New York University.
