DANLAND was the debut documentary for filmmaker Alexandra Berger. Her expansive experience in the independent film world has proven her eye for a great story. As Director of New York City’s The Fifth Night Short Film and Screenplay Series for over eight years, Alexandra kick-started the development of over fifty feature films including such critically acclaimed titles as GIRLFIGHT, ROGER DODGER, TRANSAMERICA and TREES LOUNGE.

Currently she has a short film that she produced making the rounds entitled American Santa. A powerful film examining the role of representation during the Holidays.
