Rising talent, Sharaé Nikai, is a Jersey City native, only child and trap karaoke enthusiast. That about sums up her directorial experience as she makes her debut with Tribeca's US Narrative Feature Competition Selection, “The Other, Gold” — a dramedy she wrote, produced, stars in and co-directed.

Nikai appears in several network TV shows, commercials and opposite Alison Brie in Sundance selection "Horse Gir)" from The DuPlass Bros/Netflix. She is also a former NCAA basketball player with a bum wheel. But, that's a different story (TV pilot, actually), for a different day.

Sharaé currently resides in Downtown LA (similar to GTA) and relies heavily on the accent mark over her "e" (à la Beyoncé) to gain show biz credibility.
